Welcome to the online portfolio of John Keuler. John attended Emory University where he studied Journalism and English for 3 1/2 years. He wrote for Atlanta magazine, The Fayette County News, and the Emory Wheel during his undergraduate career, while also working with the Sports Information Department. During baseball seasons from 2015 to 2019, John held a position with the Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers where his various duties included tagging games in Trackman, manning the pitch clock, and operating as stringer. Most recently, John was with Sports Info Solutions as a Baseball and Football Video Scout in 2021 and returned for the 2022 season to work with SIS in a supervisory role as a Video Scout Associate. Also in 2022, John began working with Major League Baseball’s Data Operation department as a Tracking Operator at Truist Park.

Prior to that, he worked with Perfect Game for the 2019 season as a Field Manager. The next year, he was brought on to serve as a Scouting Intern in the summer at East Cobb. John was subsequently kept on to work the fall months as an assistant. His role allowed him to shoot video and write about players at events such as the WWBA National Championships, and to evaluate the athletes in games and workouts at the Underclass All American Games. Outside of his work, John’s hobbies include golfing, reading, and he likes to think of himself as a movie buff.
